He is not here, but is risen! (Luke 24:6) What a powerful statement. A statement that can be said of only One person - that person is the Lord Jesus Christ. As we remember the life, death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, may we consider where we are in our relationship with Him. Does His life, death and resurrection have personal meaning for you? It is because Jesus rose from the dead that we have the opportunity to spend eternity in Heaven. The Gospel of John tells us in the first chapter, twelfth verse (John 1:12) that as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God. It is not enough to believe, you have to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. I asked Jesus "How much do you love me?" "This much" He said, as he stretched out His arms and died. Do you know Him as your personal Savior?
